Social Media

Social media refers to "forms of electronic communication through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content" (M-W.com). While this technical definition may be suitable for a dictionary, most people would probably name a platform they use to describe social media. Facebook, twitter, flickr, YouTube, and Google + are all popular social media sites, however, thousands of social media sites exist all over the Internet including wiki's, the most known wiki being Wikipedia.
